Pretoria — Paralympian Oscar Pistorius was granted bail of R1 million on Friday, but sharp questions were asked about his version of events the night his girlfriend was killed.

The Pretoria Magistrate's Court agreed he could pay R100,000 first and the rest of the bail amount by March 1.

Oscar Pistorius was 1 when his deformed legs were amputated, 6 when his parents divorced, 15 when his mother died. Life trained him to overcome adversity. And when he set world records running on artificial legs and competed in the London Olympics against able-bodied athletes, his story inspired the world.

The unexpected resignation of Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi, was a deliberate plot to draw the attention of the presidency to the shoddy manner the Nigerian Football Federation is managing the affairs of the team and the lack of faith in Mr Keshi's ability, Premium Times can report today.

A source close to Mr Keshi said the coach had endured months of undue interference especially from the head of NFF's technical committee, Chris Green.

In a statement on Tuesday in Johannesburg, Keshi said he was making the declaration to clear the air on his "rumoured resignation."

"My attention has been drawn to reports in the media that I have resigned my appointment as the Head Coach of Super Eagles of Nigeria.

Since Oprah now has her own network, cyclist Lance Armstrong has decided to admit to doping during his run of seven Tour De France titles from 1999-2005 by giving an exclusive interview to Miss Winfrey.
