Sir Elton John and David Furnish have their hands full after becoming proud fathers for a second time.

The couple are celebrating being parents again after the LA-based surrogate mother, who gave birth to their first son, Zachary in 2010, reportedly gave birth to their second child.

Elton’s spokesperson refused to comment on the report, only saying: ‘We never discuss our clients’ personal lives.’

His London based spokesperson had ‘no comment’.

The couple, who wed in a civil-partnership in 2005, are said to feel indebted to the woman, who also gave birth to US actor Kelsey Grammer’s kids.

A source close to Elton and David said: ‘Elton and David love this lady like a sister and they feel indebted to her for life.

‘Naturally she has been well rewarded. But her identity will never be revealed. They are over the moon.’

The 65-year-old Rocket Man previously spoke about how fatherhood changed his world.

‘I think it changes everybody. It’s the most wonderful thing that you could possibly go through,’ he said. ‘I regret a little bit that I didn’t do it sooner, but he has changed our lives. Everything is about him now.’

Furnish revealed at the time that neither father wanted to know who was the biological dad.

The 50-year-old film producer said of Zachary: ‘We both contributed. For the time being we don’t have a clue. We look at him every day and at the moment he has Elton’s nose and my hands.’
